This symbol means that the company that manufactured the glass packaging is financing the glass packaging recycling system -managed by Ecovidrio complying with the Extended Producer Responsibility Principle- with a fee for each glass packaging that it puts on the market.
The recycling chain transforms waste into cullet, which is a valuable raw material for manufacturers of new glass packaging. Bear in mind that glass is fully recyclable and, therefore, is completely reincorporated into the production cycle.
A commercialisation process that provides income to maintain the system also arises in this transformation of waste into raw material.
